D - Pointers
- Global/ Local/ National consequences
Two PEEL’s.
- Should not be generic or ambiguous
- Establish strong links between problem and consequence
- Strong reasoning/explanation
- Different points for local, global or national
- Can be environmental, economic, social, cultural, etc.
- Justify why the impact is local/ national/ global (should be specific- reflect the context)
- 3 underdeveloped but relevant points or 2 developed and complete PEEL’s.
PEEL:
- Point- state the point you are making, clearly and explicitly.
- Evidence- take evidence from the source, put in quotation marks.
- Explanation- explain the point further, and how the evidence supports the point. Write about 2 lines.
- Link- link the point you are making clearly back to the question.
