On evaluating the STRENGTH OF REASONING, TONE & TYPES OF INFORMATION -

  1. SOR - Logical [Cause-Consequence] + Structure[Causes and Consequences are together] + Break down of argument vs other doesn't explain well [Less justifications or clarity given]
  2. Tone -
    1. Emotive -
      1. Positive - passionate about the topic, well educated enough to give such strong arguments, emotional touch adds pathos which allows for connection with the readers - more receptive
      2. Negatives - Indicative of a bias, more arbitrary
    2. Non-emotive -
      1. Positive - Shows more objectivity and less indicative of a bias, clear, easy to follow
      2. Negative - Disconnect with readers, less convincing, less enthusiasm for argument
  3. Types Of Information
